Galignani is the first bookshop in English that was established on the continent in 1801. Fortunately, it has remained a particular place with a warm and special atmosphere and doesn't look at all like the huge culture supermarkets that you can find nowadays under the name "bookshop". On top of the latests books in English or French, you can find a huge choice about arts, politics, literature, etc. and also of magazines in English.
